I was incredibly honoured to take in the first public performance of opera in a theatre since March. The performance took place at The Cockpit Theatre on 26 July and was organised by Tête à Tête Opera Festival in partnership with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS). I performed excerpts from my one-woman opera The Other Side of the Sea, which I wrote with Octavia Bright back in 2018, as well as solo vocal works by Cheryl Frances-Hoad, Cathy Berberian and Georges Aperghis.
