I’m delighted that my contemporary quartet The Hermes Experiment has just been awarded another grant from the Arts Council England, this time to support our Russian programme which we are premiering at Kings Place on 16 February. The project is also supported by the RVW Trust and the Oleg Prokofiev Trust. The programme will feature new commissions by Emily Hall, Timothy Salter and Joel Rust, a new devised piece with Jethro Cooke and brand new arrangements of works by Prokofiev, Mosolov and Rachmaninoff (all written by Hermes members)!
