We are so excited to be premiering our interpretation of Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale on Tuesday 13 December at The Cockpit, London. We developed the work during an Aldeburgh Music Residency in September. Reducing the play to an hour’s duration in collaboration with director Nina Brazier, composer Kim Ashton and five actors, we (The Hermes Experiment) become integrated into the drama alongside our wonderful group of actors, to create a wholly new interpretation of the play.
Tickets are now on sale here and our first bit of press coverage, from the online magazine Culture Whisper is here.
For this project, we are thrilled to receive support from Aldeburgh Music, Arts Council England, the RVW Trust, Hinrichsen Foundation and Britten-Pears Foundation.
Below is our brand new trailer and poster for the event – hope to see you there!
